I’m a professional non-fiction writer and editor with over three years of experience. I have worked as a writer and editor for:
- Oak Bay Neighbours magazine,
- Community Plus Care (a home care and nursing company), and
- Private clients.
In addition to a Master of Arts in social sciences, I hold a professional writing minor in journalism and publishing (University of Victoria), and an editing certificate (Simon Fraser University Continuing Studies).
I have been a member of Editors Canada since 2022.
In April 2024, Editors BC (the BC branch of Editors Canada) named me Volunteer of the Month. I have volunteered with the Editors Canada national conference (2024) and the Vancouver Public Library Blue Pencil Writing Consults.
